The Tomatis® Method is a natural approach to neurosensory stimulation. Its listening programs change the music and voice in real time in order to capture the brain’s attention and to develop motor, emotional and cognitive skills. Developed by the French Doctor and Researcher, Alfred Tomatis, the Tomatis® Method relies on an advanced technology and the excellence of its trained professionals on how to use it.

Applications

The ear is the most powerful sensory integrator of the human body. More than 80% of the stimulation our brain receives comes from our ear. On one hand it has a major role in the cerebral stimulation of the brain, and on the other hand it has a positive action on the cerebral plasticity of the brain. This explains how it interacts in many fields of application. The Tomatis® Method is a complementary tool to most therapeutic or pedagogical support. It makes it possible to multiply the results obtained, and thus significantly reduce the duration of a traditional therapeutic or medical plan. It can be used at any age (children, adults or seniors) and it can be used for one’s personal development to help fight most difficulties and disorders.

Full diagnostic assessment including listening test if appropriate (up to 2 hours) - £200

(Available in Leith, near Biggar or online.  Online assessments will not include an audiogram)

Tomatis package - £750

(Includes 3 x 15-day Tomatis intensive programmes which are carried out at home and Tomatis Infinite headphones.  Reviews are paid separately)

 

Additional Tomatis 15-day intensives done at home - £200

(Three intensives are usually adequate however, in some situations, it may be preferable to have additional listening sessions)

Tomatis reviews (up to 1 hour)  - £80

(Reviews are held every 6-8 weeks in Leith, near Biggar or online.)
